The Panoris video system helps Sparta to succeed
Sparta follows examples of many foreign clubs in using the Panoris mobile video system, our club started to use this system during the 2019/2020 season. The automatic camera system allows our coaches to analyse matches thoroughly and change tactics accordingly during the match itself.
„In the last year we focus on working with data much more. We were inspired by the big clubs in other countries and we decided for the Panoris system. Now our coaches have detailed information about all kinds of game aspects of each player. It is a big step forward for our club and I think we could see the first results of it during the spring of the last season,“ Tomáš Rosický, the sports director of Sparta, says.
Sparta has been using the Panoris system since the winter camp in Marbella, Spain. „It’s a complete revolution for us, we don’t need a technical cameraman anymore. I can see all the situation during the match directly on my computer and send it to our coaches on the bench. So they can react immediately,“ Ondřej Janda, video technician of Sparta, adds.
How does the system work for Sparta? Our club has two sets. The first one is used for all the home matches. It consists of two high-resolution cameras, one for each half of the pitch. Ondřej Janda can work live with full panoramic view of the entire pitch, so he does not miss any action during the game. He has more time to analyze all the situation during the match too.
For the matches away from home, Sparta has a mobile telescopic pole with cameras, which can extend up to eight meters height. It allows us to record the matches from elevated perspective no matter of the stadium facilities.
Records of the matches then help Sparta to analyse errors better. Coaches can show the players individual game situations. And of course, it could be used to prepare tactics for the next match with the same opponent.
„We are very excited about Sparta’s decision to use innovative technology Panoris. Our goal is to help clubs achieve better results with the use of automatic video solution for tactical analysis,“ says Igor Potúček, CEO of Panoris.
