Important win with Bohemians
A great drama in Generali Arena in Sparta's first league match in the second part of the season. The match was decided by Martin Frýdek in the added time. Adam Hložek has become the youngest Spartan ever to play in the league since the opening minute.
The first chance of the match was at the 8th minute by Bohemians. Florin Nita did not get the ball to after the cross but Krch and Koubek did not get to the shot. Two minutes later Filip Hašek fired and missed our goal. Sparta had a huge opportunity in the 16th minute by Benjamin Tetteh but Tomáš Fryšták sent the ball to the corner.
Another great opportunity was the 33rd minute by the youngest Spartan in the history of the league - Adam Hložek. He hit the bar after great cross by Kanga! Three minutes later Kanga himself had a chance, but missed the goal. On the other side Antonín Vaníček had chance, but Florin Nita stopped the shot. Three minutes before the break Hložek had passed to Kanga who tried it from the long range. Unfortunately missed again. So 0-0 after the first half.
The second part and Kanga again. No problem for the goalkeeper this time. Four minutes later Bohemians locked us but Ljovin’s shot was up to the bar. It the 83rd minute after long time without chances Ljovin was sent off after the second yellow card.
At the added time Dostál played in box by hand and the referee ordered the penalty after consulting with the VAR. Fryšťák saved the Frýdek’s kick but Frýdek had another chance and scored this time! Sparta won 1-0 the first league match in 2019 against Bohemians Praha 1905.
