Nine players of the first team called-up
Another national team break is ahead and it’s about time to summarize which players are leaving for their international duty. There are nine players of the first team to represent their countries this time.
The Czech national team faces two opponents in the World Cup 2014 qualification. The Czechs host Armenia on 6th September at Eden stadium, Prague, then they travel to Torino to take on Italy on 10th September.
Tomáš Vaclík, Josef Hušbauer and David Lafata have made the Czech roster for the upcoming national team break.
The Czech U21 team doesn’t need to qualify for the U21 EURO in 2015, as the tournament takes place in the Czech Republic. However, the Czechs play a significant number of friendlies ahead of the championship. This time coach Dovalil’s squad face two Czech top division sides – Mladá Boleslav on 6th September and Přírbram on 8th September.
Jakub Brabec, Pavel Kadeřábek, Roman Polom, Ladislav Krejčí and Tomáš Přikryl have been called-up, as well as Adam Jánoš and Jiří Skalák (on loan in Jihlava and Brno, respectively).
Slovak U21 national team takes on Georgia on 9th September in Senec, with Lukáš Pauschek in the squad.
