Unlucky match in České Budějovice
Sparta traveled to Ceske Budejovice, where we played against Dynamo. After a match with a lot of individual mistakes we lost 1:2.
Our team started well. In the first minutes of the game, Martin Frydek stood out in particular. He sent a few great ball in front of Křížek.
Sparta's goal came in the 18th minute. Lukáš Vácha took the ball at the edge of the penalty area a shot technicaly. 1:0 for Sparta.
On the other side of the pitch it was Patrik Čavoš who was the most active player. After 32 minutes, Sparta failed to deal with a good passing game of Dynamo and Čavoš tried his luck from 35 metres. Heča was ready and made great save.
After 34 minutes Jan Jílek, the referee of the match, signalised a penalty after the Lukáš Štetina‘s foul. Jiří Kladrubský, another former player of Sparta, stood for the penalty and finished comfortably. The teams went into the dressing-rooms leveled after the first half.
Coach Hapal sent to the pitch Costa, Ristić, Stanciu and Chvátal for the second half. They replaced Štetina, Chipciu, Kanga and Vatajelu.
Home supporters immediately enjoyed the start of the second half. The counter attack of three on one resulted in easy finishing of Pouček. 2:1 for home side.
Chvátal could score a few minutes later, but he did not surprise Dynamo’s keeper Křížek.
Pavel Hapal changed another players after 63 minutes played. Vukadinović, Frydek, Pulkrab and Vacha went down and they were replaced by Ben Chaim, Ćivić, Kulhánek and Šural.
Mihailo Ristić was so close to scoring after an excellent corner. Unfortunately, the Serbian midfielder’s shot went just over the bar.
The preseason match at České Budějovice was attended by 1,841 spectators, who saw a several chances of Sparta at the end of the second half. But they did not wittnes any other goal. Pavel Hapal’s team lost even the second match of the Austrian preseason camp.
