From Uherské Hradiště without a point
The match with Slovácko wasn’t emotional and interesting spectacle for long time. Sparta took a lead after Pulkrab’s goal. But in a dramatic end, the home scored twice and won 2:1. The Spartans did not score from two penalty kicks.
As in a MOL Cup match in Opava, Milan Heča started as a goalkeeper. He had played in Slovácko before he came to Sparta. The match against his former club was his first in the league in Sparta.
In the sixth minute Heča had to make the first tackle. Janoška had sent the ball to the middle of the box where Havlík shot. The ball went to the middle of the goal and Heča didn’t have a problem with it.
In the twelfth minute, Plavšić centered, Pulkrab missed the ball and then Stanciu shot, but the ball crossed the goal.
In the twenty-second minute Stanciu centered from the right and Divíšek played by hand. It was a penalty kick by Guélor Kanga, but just like Stanciu against Jablonec, he did not score. Goalkeeper Trmal saved the ball.
He disposed as again after few minutes. Kanga's long ball to Stanciu on the right side, Stanciu immediately centered to the penalty area and Tetteh's header, but Trmal was quick and saved the ball.
Sparta had another chance after corner. Costa headed to the center of the goal.
Immediately after counterattack, the home team equalized after Zajíc goal. However, Havlík, who passed ball to Zajíc, had been in the offside. Referee Příhoda called the goal off after consulting situation with videoreferee.
Three minutes before the break, we survived another chance of the home team. Havlík got through the box and fired, the ball bounced off the bar to the goal line and away. The first half ended without a goal.
Even in the second half, home team started better. In a great chance, Janoška was in front of Heča, fired, but the Spartan goalkeeper showed his good reflex and the ball went to the corner.
Slovácko had another chance. After mistake of Radaković, Kalabiška fired, but Heča again eliminated the chance. Navrátil then missed the goal.
Sparta wasn’t a better team, but went to the lead after an hour. Ćivić on the left easily got to the line, then sent the ball through the box to the Pulkrab. He had easy situation and scored into the empty goal.
Then came the time for Milan Heča. Havlík fired at first, Heča pushed the ball off. Then he also eliminated the attempts of Havlíček and Kalabiška!
In the 78th minute Kanga hit Zajíc in the face by elbow and referee Příhoda after consulting with the videoreferee showed our midfielder a red card!
Just a moment after the red card home team equalized. Havlík had sent the center to the box, Zajíc had been waiting near the post it was 1:1.
The last minutes were played in a very hard atmosphere. After Slovácko corner, Ćivić hit one of the home players and referee sent him off. The accident happened in the box and after another consultation with videoreferee Příhoda ordered the penalty.
But that was not the end of the game. Sparta had controlled the ball in the last few seconds and Costa was fouled in the box. Ristić then missed the goal from the penalty kick.
