Convincing win

Sparta defeated Dukla 3-0 after a promising performance of the whole team

At Letná, Sparta finally managed to win, after losing two points in last week’s disappointing 1-1 draw in Ostrava.
As Marek Matějovský was missing due to four yellow cards, Lavička had to replace him with Lukáš Mareček in the starting line-up.
Pavel Kadeřábek did a great job before the opener, going past Matěj Hanousek and directing the ball to the goal, but he had a double bad luck. Away side’s Štětina was the one to direct the ball to the net, and so it was counted as an own goal, and Kadeřábek also got hurt, and had to be substituted a couple of minutes later.
Bořek Dočkal scored the second strike in the final moments of the first half from a penalty. Lukáš Vácha hit a hand of one Dukla’s defenders from a free kick and Dočkal made no mistake from the spot.
Ladislav Krejčí added the third after an hour of play, converting Shala’s pass to the area and setting the final scoreline.
Despite the result, the coaches have a hard task ahead of the next week’s clash in Jablonec. Brabec and Costa will not be available due to four yellow cards, while Kadeřábek’s condition is still a question.
