We are excited to announce the eleventh summer signing. French winger Jonathan Biabiany joins Sparta on a season-loan from Internazionale, an option is included in the deal.
Paris native had joined Internazionale at sixteen years of age and made his first team debut three years after in the Italian Cup.
However, he made his first league appearance for Modea, where he played on loan, as well as in Chievo and Parma, where he was transferred afterwards. He returned to Internazionale, though – and not for the last time. SInce 2011 he played for Sampdoria and Parma again, before joining Internazionale for the third time.
Biabiany made 188 Seria A appearances, scoring 22 goals.
In the last season, Biabiany faced Sparta in the Europa League group stage clash in Milan, playing the whole 90 minutes and beating the Prague side 2-1.
