Oliver Sonne’s first interview after joining Sparta

He broke into senior football at second-tier Köge, from where he moved to Silkeborg in the summer of 2021. On the Jutland peninsula, he celebrated winning the domestic cup in May 2024, scoring the decisive and only goal in the final against Aarhus. Six months later, he transferred to English side Burnley, with whom he secured promotion to the Premier League. At international level, he represents Peru thanks to his grandmother’s roots and, together with Joao Grimaldo, took part in Copa América 2024.
