Ecuadorian defender arrives from French side RC Lens
He came through the youth ranks of Ecuador’s Independiente del Valle, where he won the domestic league title, the national cup and two Copa Sudamericana trophies, and also made his debut for the national team. He later moved to Brazilian side Bahia and briefly returned to Independiente on loan before joining French club Lens in January 2024. In Ligue 1 he initially featured regularly in the starting lineup and scored his first goal, but his further progress was slowed by injuries.
