Florin Nita signs!
Thirty-years-old Romanian brankář Florin Nita became the latest addition to the Sparta first team squad. The deal between Sparta and FCSB was confirmed on Wednesday evening after Nitu passed the medical check in Prague. He signed a contract until June 2021.
Florin Nita, born in Bucharest, started his career in youth teams of Steaua Bucharest but he also played for Rapid Bucharest and Astra Ploeisti.
He spent seven years with Condordia Chiajna between 2006 and 2013.
In December 2012 he decided to join Steaua and joined his former team in the summer of the following year.
He made 87 league appearances during his time with Steaua and also 7 appearances in domestic cup and five in the league cup. He also played in 18 European cups matches including two Champions League qualifying matches against Sparta Prague in the summer 2016.
In March 2017 he made his national team debut against Denmark in 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
