Krasniqi joins Legia

Kosovo international heads to Warsaw on a year-long loan

Ermal Krasniqi is moving to Warsaw. The Kosovo international will spend the season on loan at Legia. The agreement also including a purchase option.
Before joining Sparta, Ermal played for Rapid Bucharest, where he scored six goals and added three assists in just half a season. In June 2024, he swapped the Romanian capital for the Czech one, signing a multi-year contract at Letná.
Krasniqi scored his first goal in our shirt one and a half month later in Teplice, sealing the 4:1 final score in stoppage time. He also played a role in Sparta’s qualification for the Champions League league stage, where he featured in seven matches. His most productive spell came in September and October 2024, when he found the net not only in the Czech top flight but also for the Kosovo national team against Lithuania and Cyprus.
This season, Krasniqi scored the winning goal away at Ararat-Armenia. In total, he has made 45 appearances for Sparta, registering six goals and five assists. The 26-year-old winger will now look to gain further experience at Legia.
