Kamenović is a Sparta player
The third signing of the winter transfer window is the Serbian defender Dimitrije Kamenović, who comes to Sparta on loan from Italian Lazio.
„Physical disposition, good passing skills, and strength in the air. These are Dimitrije's qualities and also the reason, why we are happy to have him here. He is still young and has big potential to improve and develop,“ said Sparta sports director Tomáš Rosický.
The Serbian footballer spent the last year in Rome, where he played for SS Lazio. However, he was not among the members of the starting lineup in the Lazio squad. During his time in Italy, he only got one opportunity to play in the league match against Verona. He didn't get another chance to prove his qualities, so he decided to take on a new challenge.
Before he joined Lazio, the 22-year-old defender wore a jersey of Serbian Čukarički, for which he managed to play 50 league matches and scored two goals.
Kamenović was part of all the youth Serbian national teams. He also played 12 matches for the U21 team and scored one goal.
We wish you the best of luck, Dimi!
