Win in the first league game
Sparta won the first league game in the new season. We turned over the match against Olomouc at Letná and won 3-2. In the end of the match, Filip Panák got to the pitch for the first time in the competitive game in Sparta.
Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba sent David Moberg Karlsson and Jakub Pešek to the basic line-up. LK37 started as a centre-back. Čelůstka could not play due to injury from EURO. Hancko did not start because of health problem and as prevention before the game against Rapid.
After only two minutes, the guests took the lead. Hála sent Kryštof Daňek forward by a good pass. He got to the box and sent the ball behind Florin Nita. Daněk also scored against Sparta in the last season.
In the 11th minute, Højer was fouled in the right corner of the box and the referee ordered a penalty after. Karlsson sent the goalkeeper to the right, ball to the left and could enjoy his favourite song The Bad Touch by Bloodhound Gang.
After half an hour of play, Sparta had a big chance. Hložek passed to Michal Sáček. He was in a great position in the box but aimed only near Macík.
Sparta was more active team, but there were no chances. In the added time, Pešek twisted the ball into the upper right corner. Unfortunately, the goalkeeper pushed to the corner. So, 1-1, after the first half.
The guests were under pressure from the beginning of the second half. At first, LK37 headed, then Dočkal fired from a distance. Macík stopped his attempt and Pešek aimed out of the three posts.
In the 64th minute, Dočkal found LK37 in the box and he sent us to the lead. This time we heart the song One More Time by Daft Punk.
In the 78th minute, Laco Krejčí crossed to the box and Hubník scored an own goal.
In the added time, González sent the ball to the net. The referee waved an offside. But it was finally goal after VAR.
In the end of the game, Filip Panák got to the pitch in our jersey for the first time in an competitive match. He was injured for a long time.
