During his career, he had a number of great achievements and played alongside the world's top players. Now, together with his former teammates, they’ll be at the TR10 Farewell event at Prague’s Letna Stadium!
Tomáš Rosický announced his retirement from a professional football in December 2017 after the end of the first part of the current season.
The former Czech national team captain, BVB and Arsenal player who grew up in Sparta jersey has one more wish. He wants to play at the Letná Stadium in Prague and he wants to play in a sold-out stadium.
„I know these types of matches have no big tradition in our country but I was sure just from the start I want to arrange something like this. I want to say goodbye to Sparta Prague and Czech national team fans straight from the pitch. I always wanted to have a fun when I played football, I wanted to show the beauty and all variations of this game. And I want to show it to fans for the last time on June 9th at Letná,“ said Tomáš Rosický.
This Farewell match will be played in GENERALI Arena on Saturday, June 9th. There will be footballers with which Tomáš played during his career in both teams from Czech national team and BVB or Arsenal.
"Tomas Rosicky wants this match to be a charity overcrowding too, and it will be a hundred percent fulfilled. We have a lot of work ahead and we are looking forward to. Previous discussions with partners have confirmed our expectations in the sense that Tomas is a personality far above the sporting framework. We firmly believe that this June day will become unforgettable for all Czech sports fans," said Tomáš Křivda, one of the members of the organizing team.
