The AC Sparta Prague Foundation Fund presents its annual report for the 2024/2025 season. The amount of three million Czech crowns shows that the connection of fans, players, partners, and employees can bring real help.
In the past season, the ACS Foundation Fund distributed more than CZK 3 million in direct financial and material assistance, helping specific individuals and families facing serious health issues or difficult life situations. The support was therefore directed exactly where it made the greatest sense and impact.
The Foundation Fund raised more than CZK 3.6 million through donations, fundraising activities, and regular contributions. The final amount also includes contributions from first-team and B-team players, who together donated CZK 876,137.
“Every request we receive is carefully assessed by our Board of Trustees. Behind each story are real concerns, illness, loss, or sudden crises – from families dealing with health complications to people and communities affected, for example, by floods. Our role is to responsibly evaluate each situation and provide help where it truly makes sense and can have a real impact,” says Irena Smetanová, Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
The annual report also highlights the broad scope of support provided by the ACS Foundation Fund. Specific examples include assistance to areas affected by floods, support for children with disabilities, and projects focused on education and sport.
The past season once again showed that football is more than just a sport. The work of the ACS Foundation Fund is an important pillar of Sparta’s identity.
“I am grateful for the support of our fans, players, partners, and colleagues. Thanks to them, we can provide help quickly, sensitively, and transparently. And just as our fans stand by Sparta over the long term, we want to be ready to stand by them when they face difficult life situations,” adds Irena Smetanová.
