After five seasons in our shirt, during which he won two league titles, helped the club return to the Champions League and eventually wore the captain’s armband, Lukáš Haraslín leaves an indelible mark on Sparta’s modern history. The Slovak international is now moving on, joining Saudi Arabian side Al-Fateh SC. Šulo, thank you for everything. We hope to see you back at Letná soon!
Haraslín initially joined Sparta on loan from Italian side Sassuolo in August 2021. His performances quickly won over the fans, and he established himself as one of the team’s key players. One of his early highlights was a free-kick goal against Slavia in October 2021. Seven months later, his move to Sparta became permanent.

In the 2022/23 season, Šulo played a key role in winning our 37th league title, forming an attacking trio with Jan Kuchta and Tomáš Čvančara. A year later, he was once again part of an attacking triumvirate, this time alongside Kuchta and Veljko Birmančević, as Sparta dominated Czech football and completed the league-and-cup double. Haraslín then represented Slovakia at EURO 2024 in Germany.
Šulo also played a major role in ending Sparta’s 19-year wait to return to the Champions League. In the first leg of the play-off against Malmö, Birmančević’s shot deflected off Haraslín and then Malmö defender Lasse Nielsen before finding the net. The return leg at Letná belonged to the Slovak winger: although his first goal was ruled out for offside, he calmly converted a penalty before setting up Albion Rrahmani for another goal.

Haraslín continued to lead Sparta’s attack, although a hamstring injury unfortunately ruled him out in autumn 2024. He returned in the spring and went on to score a hat-trick against Karviná and find the net against Sparta’s biggest rivals once again in March 2025.
Ahead of last season, Haraslín was named Sparta captain and led the team through a successful Conference League qualifying campaign. He also enjoyed his most prolific season, scoring a career-best 13 league goals. His son Luca was a regular presence during the team’s post-match celebrations.

Lukáš Haraslín made 194 competitive appearances in a Sparta shirt, scoring 59 goals and providing 36 assists. A two-time Czech champion, he became one of the defining figures of the club’s modern era.
Šulo, thank you once again for everything. We wish you all the best!
