The opening stages of the first half were fairly even, with neither side creating any clear-cut chances. From around the twentieth minute, however, the hosts took the initiative and carved out several very promising opportunities, posing a particular threat from set pieces. Our defence held firm until half-time. The pattern of play continued after the break, and in the 78th minute Jakub Surovčík in our goal was finally beaten by substitute Gonzalez. A few minutes later, Kadeřábek found himself in a great position inside the hosts' penalty area for a first-time shot, but fired over the bar. Another chance for Brunes also went begging, so we leave Greece with a 1–0 defeat.
