We are very excited to have the honour of representing Czech football in Europe once again this year. However, achieving good results on the pitch is not our only goal. Creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for every visiting team is equally important to us. We believe that Sparta enjoys a notable reputation as a host club, and we aim to continue proving this in European competitions. A professional attitude towards visiting teams, their staff, coaches, managers, and fans plays a fundamental role in our club. The same applies to our cooperation with both domestic and international media.

Our club was established on 16 November 1893 in Prague and belongs among the oldest football clubs in continental Europe. Sparta is defined by its rich traditions and numerous trophies. It is the most successful club in the history of Czech and Czechoslovak sport. Our colours are blue, yellow, and red. Traditionally, we wear a dark red jersey, white shorts, and black socks.
