The first team of AC Sparta Praha is traveling to southern Spain for a winter training camp. Due to the early season restart, Filip Panák and his teammates are departing for the familiar destination just a week after New Year’s. In Marbella, the squad will play two friendly matches (January 10th vs. Malmö and January 15th vs. Bodø/Glimt). Which players have been included in the traveling squad?
Joining the first-team regulars on the Tuesday morning flight were several young talents from the B-team and the ACS academy: Heerkens, Hranoš, Mokrovics, Lukáš Penxa, Rus, and Šiler.
Imanol, who is currently injured, will also train with the team in Marbella, though he remains unavailable for match action in the coming months. Angelo Preciado will continue his rehabilitation separately. Elias Cobbaut will join the team on January 13th due to an injury he sustained in the match against Feyenoord Rotterdam.
Goalkeeper Vojtěch Vorel is not part of the traveling squad, as he and the club are finalizing a loan move to ensure more playing time.
