Martin Suchomel came through all the youth categories at Strahov. He made his competitive debut for the first team in the victorious 301st derby away to Slavia. Shortly afterwards, in February 2022, he made his European debut against Partizan Belgrade.

He gained further experience during an 18-month loan spell at Mladá Boleslav, after which he returned to Letná ahead of the 2024/25 season. He then got the chance to feature in the league phase of the most prestigious club competition, appearing in matches against Brest, Inter and Leverkusen.
In the current season, Marty has mostly featured in cup competitions. He particularly impressed in the third round of the MOL Cup, scoring twice against Karlovy Vary. He also found the net in the opening match of the Conference League league phase against Shamrock. Unfortunately, he broke his arm during the training camp in Marbella, with his recovery initially estimated to take several weeks.

Marty has also been a regular youth international. Last year he represented the Czech U21 team at the European Championship, playing in all of the team’s group-stage matches.
Marty, we wish you a speedy recovery and the best of luck under the “lollipops!”
