Qazim Laci was born in Albania but moved to Greece as a young boy. He started his career in the Olympiakos academy. He also made 17 starts in the UEFA Youth League. His most notable appearance in this competition came in the 2014/15 season, when he scored four goals in seven games, two of them in the Juventus net. The skilful midfielder had been in France since the 2017/18 season, where he had jersey of AC Ajaccio, with whom he got to Ligue1. In 2020, Laci made his debut for the Albania national team. Before that, he also made his way through the Albanian youth teams. He became a Spartan at the end of 2022.
