He grew up in Mechelen, Belgium, where made his senior debut for KV Mechelen. A successful stint at Anderlecht followed, with whom he finished third in the Belgian Pro League in his last season in Brussels. Then he moved to Parma and fought for promotion to Serie A. He spent the 2023/24 season back on loan at Mechelen.
