Brian Priske and Lukáš Haraslín ahead of the game against Aberdeen
Brian Priske began his coaching career in 2011 as an assistant at FC Midtjylland. He later served in the same role at FC Copenhagen during the 2016/17 season before returning to Midtjylland, where he was appointed head coach in 2019. In his first season, he led the team to a Danish Superliga title and subsequently guided them through three qualifying rounds into the UEFA Champions League group stage. Ahead of the 2021/22 season, Priske took charge of Belgian side Royal Antwerp, leading the club to the UEFA Europa League group stage. In the summer of 2022, he joined AC Sparta Praha as head coach. Under his leadership, Sparta claimed the Czech league title in the 2022/23 season and secured a domestic double in 2023/24. His success in Prague earned him a move to Dutch giants Feyenoord in the summer of 2024. After a strong season in Rotterdam and a short break from coaching, Priske returned to Sparta ahead of the 2025/26 season to begin his second spell as head coach.
