Roman Macek is a product of Zlín’s academy and joined the Juventus academy at the age of 16. After loan spells with Bari and Cremonese, he spent seven seasons at Swiss side Lugano, where he made 135 competitive appearances and also featured in European competitions. In the summer of 2025, he returned to the Czech Republic, joining Mladá Boleslav. One season later, he completed a move to Letná.
