A record 7-2 win and Krejčí’s hattrick!
Sparta returned to the league fights in an incredible style. We crushed Teplice 7-2 and equalized Sparta record in the Czech league from 1994. LK37 scored a hattrick!
Matěj Polidar started in the basic line-up for the first time in 2021. He played on the left side of the defence. Michal Sáček started on the right. Tomáš Wiesner moved between midfielders and Adam Hložek was a striker. Juliš, Kozák, Laco Krejčí, Hancko and Štetina were not available due to health reasons.
The start was really fast. Goalkeeper Němeček, who replaced Čtvrtečka, he is in the club on loan from Sparta, sent the ball only to Adam Hložek. He quickly fired from 20 metres to the half-opened goal. Hložan scored the first league goal after an injury.
Ten minutes later, Sparta played a short corner. Dočkal then placed a perfect ball on LK37 head and it was 2-0!
After 20 minutes, Kučera crossed to the box and unguarded Jukl reduced the score. Few minutes later Polidar passed to Plavšič which crossed to LK37 and he headed again to the net.
Jukl then fouled Wiesner in the box and it was a penalty. LK37 took the ball, the goalkeeper went to the right, ball to the left. LK37 scored a hattrick in less than half an hour!
Five minutes before the break, Pavelka hit the crossbar from a distance, LK37 then missed by…? yes, his head.
Former Sparta Tomáš Grigar replaced injured goalie Němeček for the second half. As Sparta finished the first half, began the second half. Plavšić crossed from the left side and there was ready Adam Hložek. At first it seamed that he scored, it was finally an own goal.
And the goal machine did not stop. After an hour of play, Hložek passed to Polidar in the box by heel and Matěj scored the first competition goal in Sparta - 6: 1!
Tomáš Wiesner did not want to be left behind either and a minute later he got a pass from Karabec. Wiesy scored the first league goal of his career.
Ten minutes before the end, Žitný reduced the score. Sparta defeated Teplice 7-2 and equalled a record victory in the Czech league. In 1994 we defeated Victoria Pilsen by the same result. One goal was missing to equal the absolute record of the highest competition.
