Serbian defender Uroš Radaković played his first match in Sparta jersey just one day after he completed his move from Sigma Olomouc to Sparta on Tuesday. Radaković played full 90 minutes against MFK Ružomberok.
“I’m glad I played full match despite I didn’t expect to play it full. It was quite demanding but I think I played solidly.”
“It’s a shame we couldn’t score at least one goal from several opportunities but goals will important mainly in competitive matches. It’s still only friendly matches.”
“We want to play aggressive, to keep the ball and win the second balls back. It’s important to play as a team.”
Radaković played for the first with his new teammates as he played with Kaya in the first half and with Costa in the second half in central defence.
“It was easy and communication was alright with both of them. There is a no issue on and of the pitch, all players are great to me from the first minute I came here.”
Uroš had also one opportunity to score but goalkeeper saved his header. “I was in a good position but I didn’t hit the ball ideally. But I hope I will score some goals in the league.”
