NOVÁ POSILA | QAZIM LACI

„In Qazim, we get a central midfielder who, with his different typology, will perfectly fit our midfield and give the coach a wide range of options. He is also a national team player who is well equipped physically and played for a long time in France. He is really good technically, he can change the pace of the game, speed it up and get from the depth of the field in front of the opponent's goal. He defends well and has a winning mentality,“ said ACS sports director Tomáš Rosický.
Although Qazim Laci was born in Albania, he moved to Greece when he was a child. He started his career there and joined the academy of Olympiakos. In the Jersey of the famous greek football club, he also made 17 appearances in the youth Champions League, where he in 2014/15 got the attention of foreign scouts, because he managed to score four goals in seven games, two of them were against Juventus, and add two assists.
The creative midfielder has been in France since the 2017/18 season, where he was a member of AC Ajaccio, with whom he won the Ligue 2 last season and got the opportunity to play in Ligue 1. In Ajaccio, he managed to play 146 league games in which he scored 10 goals and added eight assists.  The last appearance was on 28th December in a match against Angers.
Two years ago, Laci made his debut in the national team of Albania, and since that time played 20 games and scored one goal. Before that, he also was a member of all youth Albanian National Teams.
We are looking forward to seeing you in the red jersey, Qaz!
