Coach Jílek made one change after the match in České Budějovice. Martin Hašek replaced Michal Trávník. Lukáš Juliš had been prepared on the Sparta bench for the first time since March 2018.
We had our first chance in the second minute. Tregler fouled in front of the box and Kanga took a free kick. He curled the ball into the corner of the goal, but goalkeeper Boháč performed great save!
In the next minutes there where no chances. Sparta had few moments like when Krejčí pushed the ball to Costa, but Boháč was there soon. Hanousek run away after 27 minutes and him cross was blocked to the corner. Kanga placed the ball exactly to Costa’s head and he got the ball into the net!
The goal helped Sparta and it didn't take long for another goal. Trávník was fouled in the box by Šimek. The Referee ordered a penalty after consultation with the VAR. Guélor Kanga put the ball to the penalty point and scored his third goal in the season!
But then the penalty came also on the other side after Krejčí’s foul. Martin Zeman shot and Florin Nita bounced the ball off! Thanks to that we won the first half 2-0.
Immediately after the break, Libor Kozák was injured after the collision with the opponent. He was in care of our doctors for a long time and Sparta played for a few minutes with ten players. During this time Alvir dangerously headed after the corner but missed the goal. Kozák then returned to the game.
Příbram could return to the match again thanks to Martin Zeman. His teammates extended the cross in 55th minute and Zeman only had Nita in front of him. He shot from the first but shot over the goal.
There was a Spartan chance after that. Krejčí found Sáček by a beautiful long cross across the pitch. He got to the box and finished. His shot missed the goal.
After an hour Kanga played a corner on the ground, Trávník fired and unfortunately hit only post!
After 80 minutes Tetteh got to the ball in the box, Boháč jumped under his feet and clearly fouled him. Kanga increased to 3-0 from the spot!
For a while there was another huge chance of Sparta. Plavšić put the ball to Tetteh. He fired hard without preparation, Boháč stopped his attempt as same as Hložek’s.
Příbram did not finish with eleven players at Letná this season again. In the 84th minute Voltr hardly fouled from behind Sáček which was holding a ball and Voltr was sent off.
Antwi had a great chance in the last few seconds, but Nita performed a great save and confirmed our 3-0 victory!
