2-0 win in Zlín
Sparta returned to the league battles after the international break. We won in Zlín 2-0 thanks to goals by Tetteh and Kanga from the first half.
Coach Václav Jílek made few changes in our defence. Milan Heča replaced Florin Nita in our goal, Lischka, Kaya and Frýdek were in front of him.
We went from the first chance to the lead in the fifth minute! After the cross by Frýdek, one of the Spartans had finished, his attempt din not ended with goal yet. Azatskyi did not clean the situation, Tetteh got to the ball and sent it into the net!
Sparta also had another chance in the thirteenth minute. Kanga sent the ball from the corner in front of the goal, where Tetteh ended. Unfortunately, his attempt only hit Krejčí and bounced just outside the goal.
Then the home team threatened. Zlín went through the Sparta defence and Poznar fired. But he missed the goal.
In the seventeenth minute Tetteh went against the goalkeeper Dostál which fouled our striker. The referee ordered a penalty kick. Traditionally executor Kanga and as traditionally goal!
Five minutes before the end of the half, the ball fell into the small box and Dostál let Tetteh finish. But Tetteh did not get the ball to the net.
Even the second half started with our dominance. Tetteh had the first chance, got through the box to the goal line, from where he wanted to pass but the home defence got to the ball just before Tetteh. Then Kanga got to the ball. He nicely prepared for the shot, but hit only the the crossbar.
Sparta controlled the game but chances were not coming. No more happened and Sparta takes the first away win of the season.
