The four sections who are part of the home fans sectors will remain closed during Thursday’s UEFA Europa League match against Hapoel Beer-Sheva. The Disciplinary Commission of UEFA punished ACS for inappropriate expressions by the audience during the previous match with Internazionale FC. What can we do to not repeat this situation?
The UEFA Disciplinary Committee closed sectors H37 – H40 due to hum during UEFA Europa League match between Sparta and Internazionale.
Despite the club's argument that it was not a manifestation of racist nature, DC punished the club because of that humming it is automatically regarded as discriminatory speech regardless of whether it is a reaction towards the referee or the players any skin or religion.
ACS appeal to the fans to not hum during matches. The future may hold for these inappropriate expressions come even harsher punishment (such as the closure of the whole stadium).
AC Sparta Prague defining racism and other manifestations of intolerance. We have the opportunity already in the match against Hapoel Beer-Sheva this Thursday to show the whole of Europe that we are Sparta. And say not of racism.
The club has prepared a special video "We Sparta. And we say no racism," with players Bořek Dočkal and Costa. Sparta also addressed our former player Léonard Kweuke who made video and we will share it via club social media.
