Lose in the beginning of the new season

Sparta entered to the first game of the season with two new players in the line-up: Michal Trávník and Libor Kozák, which was our captain.

Sparta had the first chance of the match. In the eighteenth Kanga passed to Hanousek on the left side minute and he immediately crossed in front of the goal. Kozak was ready close to the near post, but his header went just wide.

We almost got the first goal from the counterattack. Kanga lost the ball, Navrátil passed to Dvořák and he to Kalabiška, which went through Zahustel and opened the score of the match.

Libor Kozák had another chance in the first half. In the twenty-fifth minute, Kanga found him behind the defence by long cross and Kozák was in the box face to fact to Trmal, who reduced the shooting angle, and the Kozák overshot.

After half an hour we were down by two goals. Navrátil won the ball, sent it to Daníček, which went alone to Nita. He shot near the far post and scored.

Slovácko then had other possibilities. Havlík headed over the goal in the first, then Navrátil fired from behind the box above the crossbar.

In the end of the first half, Sparta locked the opponent in his box, but we didn’t score. Sáček hit Trmal, then Hložek fired above. We lost 0-2 after the first half.

With the start of the second half Sparta formed the game but great chances were missing. In the 59 minute Kanga crossed to Tetteh which missed the target.

A clear chance came in the 63^rd minute. Plavšić went through the defender, fired from the angle and forced Trmal to a good tackhle. After the next corner he caught Tetteh's header. In the 68^th minute Sáček fired out of the box and hit the post!

The guests were passive in the end, but we did not score. In the 87th minute Sáček fired in the penalty area but it was not problem for Trmal.

Nothing more happened and we lost 0-2 in the beginning of the season.
