Coach Václav Jílek sent a little bit different line-up to the pitch compared to the one that started the game in Turkey. Hancko, Mandjeck, Trávník and Kozák were in the squad and Tetteh, Kanga, Krejčí and injured Costa were missing.
After a little careful start of the match, Sparta took the lead in the tenth minute after nice combination. Pressed Hložek passed to Hašek which scored by shot close to the right post!
After 14 minutes, Michal Trávník curled a free kick to Uroš Radaković which hit the side net. But the referee waved offside. Adam Hložek prepared another our chance. He sent the ball in the middle of the field to Michal Trávník. He finished from behind the box and missed the box.
In the twenty-seventh minute, Kuzmanović hit Mandjecek by an elbow, Spartan player had problem to get up. But there was no foul and no card.
After a while the guests played the corner, Sparta defenced at first, but the ball returned to the box and Procházka hit the crossbar! After 35 minutes Kuzmanović crossed to Hrubý. His header was stopped by Nita.
Almost immediately, Hašek sent to Kozák behind the defense. He was suddenly alone in the box, maybe he thought it was offside. However, the referee did not raise the flag and Kozák missed the goal.
Martin Hašek struck again in 39th minute! Radaković sent a long cross, Kozák fighted for the ball which go to Hašek. He lobbed Budinsky with his header and just waited for the ball falling to the net. 2-0!!!
Srdjan Plavšić played a free kick outside the box. He nicely curled the ball across the wall, but the attempt went next to the right post.
After 73 minutes, fresh Tetteh got some chances. He ended his break from behind the box with a hard shot, Budinský bounced the ball. Then Tetteh had another chance when he got through his opponent in the box and fired from an angle. But he only hit the side net.
Benji did what he wanted with Baník defence. But the problem was the finish. He went to Budinsky again after a moment and goalkeeper’s tackle was great. Hašek then finished, but Budinský managed to stop the shot.
In the 90th minute, Tetteh started another counterattack, passed the ball to Graiciar. He could have fired himself, but passed to Trávník Lawn which missed.
Sparta had no more chances and defeated Baník 2-0.
