We lost 1-2 to Plzeň at home

Head coach Václav Kotal could not use injured Plavšić, Panák, Lischka and Graiciar in the first match after the coronavirus break. Bořek Dočkal and Guélor Kanga played in the middle of the field together. Costa and Štetina started as centre-backs.

In the twelfth minute, the Sparta defence Kovařík go on the line, he offered then to Čermák. The former Spartan aimed from the first above the goal.

Then we had chances on the other side. At first, Kanga fired but was blocked. Then the same player crossed from the right, another cross flew into the box from the left ... But nothing happened.

Another huge chance by Plzeň came in the 17^th minute. Again, it was an action from the left, when Kovařík crossed and Čermák finished alone in front of Heča, this time on goal. But the Spartan goalkeeper was on the ground quickly and caught the ball.

Unfortunately, it was the opponent who took the lead. Kalvach got a lot of space in the middle of the field and fired a jumping attempt at the goal. Heča didn't reach for the ball, which fell to the bar.

We were very close to levelling before the half. Hložek pushed the ball in the box to Vindheim, who fired right next to the back post of Hruška’s goal.

Three minutes before the break, Sparta had a series of interesting crosses to the box. Dočkal put the ball on Štetina's head, which overshot the goal. After a while, another corner came and another, even greater chance, this time was headed free Krejčí. Only to Hruška.

Unfortunately, even the start of the second half was not according to our ideas. Vindheim unfortunately sent the ball to Beauguel which added the second goal by shot under the bar.

And it could have been even worse. After 57 minutes, Kayamba hit the bar!

Subsequently, Hancko could strike on the other side. After a nice combination, he ended from an angle and aimed next to the goal.

In the 67^th minute, Costa passed the ball to Hložek. He passed to Dočkal, then Tetteh fired. But his attempt was blocked by the Plzeň players.

A few minutes later, Adam Hložek got through several Victorians and it ended by Vindheim’s shot from an angle. It was blocked again and the next corner did not bring anything interesting.

Then there was no chances for a long time. Three minutes before the end, after the cross from the right, Karlsson got the ball behind Hruška.

Unfortunately, we did not create another chance and Plzeň took all three points at Letná.
