The fifth victory in a row at Slovácko

Head coach Václav Kotal for sure surprised many fans with his line-up against Slovácko. For the first time in this season, Václav Drchal started in the basic squad, Adam Karabec also started. On the contrary, Kanga and Karlsson were on the bench. Costa took the place of booked Hancko and Krejčí returned to the team after two matches penalty.

The home team had the first big chance of the match in the fourth minute. Zajíc escaped our defence, got through Costa and fired from an angle. Heča bounced the ball with his right hand.

After 10 minutes, Ladislav Krejčí shot through the defender out of the penalty area, but his attempt was not successful.

Until the expiration of the first ten minutes, the home team had one chance, when Sadílek fired from the volley inside the box. However, a ball went up the goal.

Slovácko was more dangerous in the beginning. In the eighteenth minute, Kalabiška addressed to Zajíc from the left. He was alone in front of Heča, but the ball only bounced off him to Costa, who had solved the situation in cooperation with Heča.

In the end of the first half, Frýdek was injured, and the home team almost took advantage during it. Havlík fired from a distance, but aimed a lot outside.

In the last minute of the first half, Costa got the ball, passed to Dočkal and he to Karabec. Kara turned in front of the opponent's box and offered it to Frýdek. He immediately passed in front of the goal but the ball was too far from Drchal, who was trying get it.

After a corner in the 47^th minute, it was really busy in front of the home goal. Costa finished, Porcal bounced the ball in front of him and Štetina finished. Unfortunately, he only hit the home Kadlec, who was standing on the goal line.

Sparta clearly had more of the game at the start of the second half. In the 56^th minute, Hložek crossed to the box, Tetteh stopped the ball fot Karlsson and he fired. However, Kadlec again stopped our shot.

Then Slovácko threatened again. After the cross from the left, Hanousek failed to get the ball out, Zajíc passed to Navrátil and he was in a good position. But face to face Heča fired high above.

After a good start to the second half and successful substitutions of head coach Kotal, we took the lead in the 65^th minute. Karlsson got to the box from left that the visitors' keeper and fired to Porcal. Just in front of him, Vindheim touched the ball and sent Sparta to the lead!

Sparta then let home team play but there was not big chance of it. On the contrary, after the break came the second Sparta goal. Vindheim addressed to Tetteh after a quick break, he got around Daníček and fired. The home captain fell into the shot and did not let the ball get to the goal. Then the ball bounced to Kanga and he ended in the open net!

The end of the match did not bring anything interesting and Sparta bring a valuable 2-0 victory to Letná. We won at Slovácko pitch for the first time since 2014!
