From Pilsen without a point

Coach Václav Kotal sent players which usually get to the match as subs in the line-up. The reason was alslo Wednesday's MOL Cup final. For example Nita, Mandjeck, Costa or Drchal. Horák, Hucek and Patrák were waiting for their first league match at the bench.

Another young boy in the starting line-up Adam Karabec sent the first shoot of the match. His attempt from the box border went over the goal in the third minute.

In the beginning, Sparta tried to threaten by breaks. In the first ten minutes, the most dangerous was probably the one at with Hložek in the end. He fired from behind the box, but the ball ended outside the goal.

Although we started with changed line-up, we were a better team from the beginning. We could confirm it by goal after a quarter of an hour. Hložek beautifully held the ball against three opponents on his back and passed to Dočkal. He fired from twenty-five meters and it was a wonderful attempt, which was stopped by the bar behind Hruška! What a pity!

In the 23^rd minute, the home team also had the first chance. The cross from Kayamba flew into the box from the right, Mihálik headed in front of Nita but missed the goal.

Practically immediately came the real chance of Pilsen. Karabec lost the ball in front of our goal and suddenly the two home players went alone to Nita. However, he first stopped Hořava's shot and then Kayamba's attempt. Incredible job of our goalkeeper!

Then the home team more controlled the game. But it was Tetteh which could open the score after half an hour. He was alone in front of Hruška. He tried to get the ball between his legs, but the Plzeň there was no space and Hruška caught the ball.

At the end of the half, Hložek run to the goal after a nice cross but Havel caught him from behind and stole the ball.

In the beginning of the second half, we also had first chance. Horák passed to Kanga, who turned the game to Vindheim to the right. The Norwegian defender sent a pretty sharp cross into the box, which just flew on Václav Drchal's head.

In the 52^nd minute, Horák was part of another our chance. Just after his pass, Tetteh turned around in front of the box but aimed next to the goal.

Unfortunately, the home team took the lead in the 56^th minute and it was nothing difficult. Tomáš Chorý headed after the corner.

Another chance for Plzeň came a minute later. Mihálik shot in front of the box, but Nita was quickly on the ground and sent the ball to the corner.

Drchal could exualite when he got in front of Hruška from the right, but the Plzeň goalkeeper reduced the shooting angle and stopped the ball.

Unfortunately, then another goal was in our net. The Spartans lost the ball, Chorý crossed from the right and Mihálik scored. No chance for Nita.

In the 83^rd minute, Plzeň went to ten, because Kopic fouled Vindheim from behind and then stepped on him. After consulting with the video, Referee Orel showed him a red card.

Then Karlsson had a lot of space in front of the box and sent a nice twisted shot behind Hruška!

Subsequently, Kanga played the standard situation and found running Costa in the box. But he did not get the ball into the net.
