Sparta will not win MOL Cup again

Spatra's head coach Pavel Vrba sent Milan Heča to our goal, as well as in previous MOL Cup matches. Wiesner started on the right side of the defence, Sáček, Pavelka and Hložek operated in the middle of the field. Juliš was our striker. Dočkal, Souček, both Krejčí, Vindheim, Štetina and Kozák could not play due to health reasons.

The first chance of the match came in the 7^th minute. Karlsson got to the box and fired. Kolář stopped his attempt.

In the 20^th minute, Hložek fought the ball, ran to the goal, stopped in front of Kolář and tried to find one of his teammates. Pavelka then ended this action but he overshot.

Four minutes later, Bořil tried in in the box after cross from a right side and Milan Heča saved fantastically!

Then Dorley started the action, passed to Kuchta, which unfortunately sent the guests to the lead. In the 30^th minute, Dorley found Holeš on a small box and we were losing 0-2.

In the 34^th minute, Juliš could reduce the score. He got the ball near to the penalty spot but missed the right post.

Four minutes later came another great chance for Sparta. Hancko fired from a free kick and Kolář saved the ball which would end in the right corner of the goal.

Six minutes before the break Čelůstka headed after a free kick. The ball ended next to the left spost.

Sparta was two goals down after first part of the match.

After 53 minutes, Masopust came on for Kucht, who scored the third goal.

Ten minutes later, Karabec passed to the box from the left side. Unfortunately, Juliš did not reach the ball.

Twenty minutes before the end, Bah was face to face with Heča, but our goalie saved.

In the 75^th minute, Hložek fired from a distance and Kolář stopped his well-aimed shot into the upper left corner!

Seven minutes before the end, Minchev hit only the right post from an angle. On the other side, Masopust had a chance but he did not chop Sparta goalkeeper.

Sparta lost 0-3 and ends in the MOL Cup semifinal.
