Win in the derby and MOL Cup semi-final

Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba sent Milan Heča to the goal. Martin Suchomel started on the left side of the defence for the first time in a competitive match. LK37, Sáček and Karabec played in the centre of the field. Hložek moved to the left wing and Minchev operated started as a striker.

In the 10^th minute, Wiesner fired from the distance after a corner kick. His shot bounced to LK37, who sent the ball to the net.

A quarter of an hour later came a beautiful action by Sparta! Jakub Pešek run to the goal and passed to Wiesner on the right. He gave the ball back to Pešek and Kuba sent it to the Slavia goal for the second time!

And it could have been even happier! Ousou sent a bad pass and Minchev caught it. He went alone to Mandous. Minci tried a fine move but the goalkeeper caught the ball. It was 2-0 for Sparta at half time.

In the second half, head coach Vrba sent Panák on the field. He took the place in the middle of the defence. Vitík moved to the right side, Wiesner to the left.

Sparta kept the lead and in the second half and we were waiting a long time for a more serious situation. It came in the 67^th minute and the boys in red had a chance again. Šulo caught a pass and got to the box. But he only shoot over the bar!

Seven minutes before the end, Sparta had another chance! This time Pešek went to the break, but he didn't score the insurance goal either and only hit the Slavia goalkeeper.

Moment later, Kacharaba was sent off after a second yellow card and Slavia finished the game with ten men.

Sparta did not let the defending champion do anything for the whole match and won 2-0 in Eden.
