Sparta drew 2-2 with Plzeň

Before the match, Ondřej Čelůstka received a jersey with the number 100, because he was going to play his jubilee match in the Czech league.

Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba sent Panák Hancko to the defence. Pavelka and Hložek returned to the midfie of the field. Pešek and Haraslín operated on the wings, Minchev was at the top of the attack.

Sparta had the first opportunity in the 6^th minute and some of the spectators were already celebrating. Hložek sent a pass into the penalty area to Pešek which quickly fired. Unfortunately, he hit only the right side net.

Plzeň had a first chance in the 20^th minute. After a corner kick, Chorý was the highest player and sent the ball into our goal.

Eight minutes later, Sýkora found Kaša from a free kick and he headed the ball and it bounced off the left post. Then Spartans solved the situation and Minchev then run forward. He was stopped by Sýkora for a yellow card.

That's all that happened in the first half and Sparta were 0-1 down. Head coach Vrba sent Tomas Čvančara in place of Minchev. Čvanči played a competitive debut in the red jersey.

In the 51^st minute, Hancko fired from a free kick from about 25 meters and overshot the goal.

Two minutes later, the guests went into a two-goal lead. Hejda scored after another corner kick.

And the visitors continued to have more opportunities. In the 57^th minute, Mosquera run for a long cross into the middle of the defence and found himself face to face to Holec. Domino stopped his shot.

After an hour, Hancko quickly fired from the box line and unfortunately overshot the bar.

In the 71^st minute, Wiesner found Pavelka by a cross from the right side Pavelka sent the ball near the left side. To the good side, of course and reduced the score – 1-2!

Sparta pushed for an equaliser in the next minutes, but Plzeň defended us.

In the 88^th minute, Holec performed great saves! At first, he stopped Šulc shot in the box by his quickly right hand and pushed the ball from the open goal. A moment later he bounced off Beauguel’s shot and stopped another finish by Šulc!

The referee added only three minutes at the end. Dominik Holec run to the Plzeň goal before one of the last corners. Adam Karabec played the corner perfectly and Adam Hložek equalized by a header!

Sparta still tried to turn the game around in the final seconds, but no more chances. Sparta drew with Plzeň 2-2, defended the home unbeatability. The difference between two teams remains four points.
