Spartan's coach Pavel Vrba made three changes in comparison to the week's game against FK Partizan in Europa Conference League. Panák, Sáček and Pešek were replaced by Laco Krejčí, Souček and Karabec. Juliš, Pulkrab, and Čelůstka were not available for this match due to health problems.
The first interesting chance came after seven minutes when Rakovan did not let Haraslín's attempt go behind his back. Zlín's goalkeeper had to be careful also a few seconds later when Hložek got a good ball inside the penalty area, but he was not able to shoot.
Fastav had a first chance to score in the 13th minute. Vukadinović went through one of the defenders and sent a dangerous shoot. Holec with a good save.
The game was played mostly in between penalty areas with no bigger chances till the end of the first half. Therefore, we did not see any goals in the first 45 minutes.
Sparta started the second part of the match in a great way. Haraslín took the ball on the side and passed it directly to Čvančara who scored his first league goal in Sparta's jersey, 1-0.
Zlín wanted to answer in the 54th minute. Dramé's technical shoot was heading to the target, but Dominik Holec was against it, and he boxed it to the corner kick.
Minčev found Pešek's head in the 87th minute. He was in a great position and did not miss this clear chance, 2-0. It was the last dangerous moment we saw today. Sparta won over Zlín 2-0.
