Sparta head coach Pavel Vrba sent the healed Milan Heča in the goal. On the other hand, Wiesner and Højer could not start due to health problems. Sáček and Laco Krejčí started on the sides of the defence. Pavelka, LK37 and Dočkal operated in the centre of the field. Čvančara was our striker. Čelůstka and Panák also could not play due to health.
In the 9th minute, Heča found Hložek by a long kick. Hložek passed to Čvančara, but Nguyen was fast and Čvančara tried to get the ball behind him. The action ended with a corner kick. After that, LK37 headed to Slovácko goalkeeper.
Seven minutes later, Holzer hit the bar! Then Heča caught the ball on a goal line.
Shortly after that, Dočkal sent the ball perfectly on Vitík’s head. He shot over!
In the 24th minute came a huge chance! After a quick action from the right side, Čvančara finished, Nguyen stopped his attempt and Laco Krejčí tried to send the ball in the net. But one of the defenders knocked the shot away.
In the 30th minute, the visitors also could strike. After a cross from the left, Tomič finished in the and fortunately missed the right post.
Three minutes later, Sparta scored. Dočkal found Hancko’s head from a free kick and Hanci sent the ball to the top right corner!
In the 42th minute Holzer fired from a distance and his crossed shot ended in our goal near a left post.
Sparta answered very quickly. After a mistake by the guests, Bořek Dočkal run on the the left side and fired. His cross shot also ended up in the net! So, 2-1 for as at halftime.
Five minutes after the break, Čvančara finished in the box after a cross from the right but unfortunately aimed over the bar!
In the 73rd minute, Hložek was on the right place after a corner and scored in his 100th league game!
Sparta won 3-1 over Slovácko. It’s clear, that one weekend later we start the final league group at the third place.
