Qazim Laci scored the opening goal in the 2nd minute after a pass from the league's top scorer Lukáš Haraslín. Plzeň managed to equalize after twenty-five minutes, but after a minute, thanks to Jan Kuchta, Sparta took the lead again. VAR entered the match twice and ended the joy on both sides. Brian Priske's players eventually won 2:1 and added three more points to the league table.
