The academy will open the new season in a great way while organising the NEXTGEN CUP at the end of July. Five teams from six countries will participate in the international tournament. Specifically: AC Sparta Prague, SK Slavia Prague, West Ham United FC, Legia Warszawa, Odense Boldklub and FK Austria Vienna.
Participants were split into two groups of three by the draw:
Group A: Legia Warsaw, AC Sparta Prague, Odense Boldklub.
Group B: SK Slavia Prague, West Ham United FC, FK Austria Wien.
The group stage will be played from July 27th to 29th at Strahov. The same placed teams from both groups will face each other for the final positions. Those matches are scheduled for the 31st of July and will be hosted by FK Loko Praha (the 3rd place, the 5th place) and SK Prosek (the final).
