In the first half, Kuchta had the best chance, but his shot hit the crossbar. The action truly began in the second half when Vitík opened the scoring shortly after the break by netting a deflected ball from Jaroslav Zelený.
Following this, the players in red jerseys applied pressure but couldn’t add another goal, giving the home team an opportunity. Teplice capitalized on this chance when Harušťák, unmarked at the back post, equalized from a right-side cross, making it 1-1. Immediately after the kick-off, however, the ball went to Kuchta, who cleverly passed to Haraslín with his heel, and the Slovak winger finished expertly with his right foot.
Teplice tried to equalize until the end of the match but never directly threatened Vindahl’s goal. In the final minutes, Olatunji and Krasniqi, who scored his first-ever goal in a Spartan jersey, added goals to secure the victory.
