The first half was cautious from both sides and short on chances. We had an opportunity after a long throw-in from Sadílek, but Ryneš shot failed to find the target. On the other end, Šulc passed the ball to Adu, who moved it forward and slotted it past Vindahl from close range just after the half-hour mark.
Shortly after the break, both teams created chances. Daňek’s run down the right side of the pitch wasn’t converted by our forwards, while Vindahl saved a shot from Šulc. In the 69th minute, the home team had an opportunity to increase their lead, but substitute Jirka’s angled shot only hit the post. Late in the game, Olatunji nearly equalized, but his quick shot was stopped by Jedlička.
