First team training
On Monday morning at Strahov, the first team trained in restricted mode under the leadership of head coach Václav Kotal for the first time. The players hadn’t trained together since Friday, March 13.
Three pitches, one member of coaching staff, one fitness coach and group of eight players on every one of the pitches. Goalkeepers trained in a special mode in the corner of one of them. This was more than an hour and a half long training unit. Dočkal, Sáček and others will train once a day during this week.
Footballers and team members arrived to Strahov separately, each in his own car. The interiors of the training centre remain closed. The club prepared conditions for the team to comply with government regulations because of the pandemic of a new type of coronavirus.
The players received detailed instructions from the club how to proceed during, before and after a training. Disinfectants were prepared around the pitches. Exercises for the players were prepared to not be in touch with each other.
“We had everything under control. Players trained at home with sport testers and sent every evening report about the training unit to fitness coaches,” said head coach Václav Kotal during the Monday training.
“It was a long time, one month. Everyone is happy. You see our mood here. It’s a beautiful weather. Trainings are not like always and they won’t be but we are happy for it. We can train in groups together on the pitch,” adds Michal Sáček.
In case if every player has minimal respiratory problem, he has to report the medical team about the situation immediately. In this situation would be forbidden for everyone to arrive to the training unit.
