Sparta lost the birthday match
The match to celebrate Sparta's 127th birthday ended badly. Dynamo used their chances and won 4-2. Karlsson and LK37 scored our goals.
It was a first home match in FORTUNA:LEAGUE since October 3. Head coach Václav Kotal could not use Karabec, Hancko, Čelůstka, Hložek, Štetina, Laco Krejčí, Kozák and Sáček due to health problems.
Sparta started with a 4-5-1 formation. Srdjan Plavšić played for the first time in the line-up since March. Karlsson operated on the other side. Juliš was our striker.
In the 3rd minute, Dočkal played a free kick. Unfortunately, he slipped during it and his shot was subsequently caught by Drobný.
Four minutes later, Karlsson tried to surprise Drobný by a long-range shot. The ball missed the left post.
In the 14th minute Mészáros run alone to Heča and scored. The assistant referee waved offside. Subsequently, the situation was reviewed by VAR and referee Hocek pointed to the middle of the field. So, 0-1.
After half an hour Sparta equalized. Karlsson shot in the box and overcame Drobný!
Sparta then controlled the game until the half-time but didn’t use the chances.
Three minutes after the break, the Spartans could score twice by their heads. At first Lischka was caught by Drobný, after the next corner Juliš aimed outside.
And then, a cold shower again. Heča bounced off Šulc's chance only to Brandner, who scored the second Dynamo goal.
Sparta levelled in the 63rd minute. Vindheim crossed to LK37 and he scored by a header! Just few seconds after that came perhaps flood to Letná. Javorek fired from a distance, the ball hit to Lischka Lischka and ended behind stunted Heča.
In the end, Sparta put the guests under a great pressure but without a goal. In the added time. Pavelka was sent off after the second yellow card. In the end Heča tried to support our offensive but guests got the ball. The Sparta goalkeeper returned to our goal but he did not stopped failed to Brandner, who scored the fourth goal for the guests in the empty goal.
