Sparta boosted their offence with another ofensive player. Portuguesse striker or winger Marco Paixao signed after the end of contract with Slask Wroclaw.
Marco Paixao (born 19 September 1984) played for several clubs in Portugal and Spain including FC Porto or Logrones. He spent two years with scotland Hamilton Academical, one year with Naft Tehran and one year with Ethnikos Achna.
Previous two season he played for Slask Wroclaw. He scored 34 goals in 66 matches in Slask's shirt.
After two years in Poland he decided to join AC Sparta Prague and he has agreed to join Sparta on a two-year contract.
