Victory in the anniversary match

The sixteenth league round was held in the spirit of celebrating Sparta's 130th birthday. Veljko Birmančević gave his club the first gift in the 3rd minute when he received the ball behind Dostál's back. The same player added the second five minutes before the end of the first half. After the change of sides, the Spartans rang the crossbar twice, first from Lukáš Sadílek's boot and then from Tomáš Wiesner's shot, but nothing more happened in the match, and so Brian Priske's players got three more points to the league table for the 2:0 victory.
