At the beginning of the new 2014/2015 campaign, Bekim Balaj leaves Sparta and signs with Slavia Prague. After coming back from a loan in Poland, he even did not travel with the team to a training camp in Italy.
Bekim Balaj signed with Sparta two years ago, being successful on trial and signing a 3-year contract.
Playing for the first team in the 2012/2013 season, he appeared in twelve games, scoring three goals. He even played five times in the Europa League that season, scoring once against Athletic Club Bilbao.
Balaj spend the previous season on a one year loan with Jagellonia Bialystok, but failed to make the roster after coming back before the start of the pre-season.
