Solid performance! Sparta defeat Dukla 3-0

Marek Matějovský was in the starting line-up for the first time in a league match since his injury earlier this season, and so Kamil Vacek had to start as a substitute.

Sparta started the match off well, but neither them nor Dukla could create any significant chance for a long time. Efforts of Krejčí, Hušbauer or Lafata did not cause the away side’s goalkeeper Rada any trouble.

After another chances later in the first half by Krejčí and Vácha, it was Bořek Dočkal to open the score, after a fantastic combination in the box – 1-0!

Sparta decided the game early in the second half. Dočkal only hit the post in the 49^th minute, but Hušbauer widened the gap after a corner kick coming just after that.

After 58 minutes gone, Dočkal was trying to find Lafata from a counter attack, but the ball got to Krejčí, who – unmarked – scored Sparta’s third of the game.

Sparta then had a couple of good chances to score more, but they had to settle with a great 3-0 win at the end.
